I so wished I enjoyed knitting as much as I do crocheting. I think it’s a rhythm thing maybe, idk. Or a patient’s thing? I crochet because it keeps my mind from being everywhere all at once. And finishing a project is so addicting lol.

Honestly it’s exact same thing for me. I think because I learned knitting first it’s my go to. But I have tried crochet and it’s extremely fun. It’s a lot harder for me to crochet. It’s like I’m learning something new the entire project so the mental load doesn’t drop like it does when I knit.

I have made several projects using knit and purl Morse Code - messages to the recipients, favorite quote, etc. It takes me back to this WWII knitters who passed information about troop movements. And Madame Defarge. 🤭
