This bill, if signed into law, will bar local law enforcement from working w/ federal agents to enforce federal gun laws in MO. This would drastically impede the ATF's ability to investigate gun trafficking & other gun crimes in MO.

Under HB1175 police departments can be sued for $50K per officer that assists federal agents. There are also additional $50K penalties for hiring an officer who previously assisted in enforcing fed gun laws. This bill would make gun violence even more prevalent in Missouri than it already is.
