Just finished French Lessons by Alice Kaplan. Interesting memoir, it starts with her childhood and how she came to spend a year in Switzerland. Then goes deep on her controversial PHD work. It finishes with life and teaching observations. Good writing style, interesting, sometimes uncomfortable.
