Are you in SoCal or in the northern part of the state.. ? I lived and taught in the Bay Area for over 40 years.. I bet your students enjoy you.. I taught English and US History in a middle school and in 6th grade.
I love them both. It was really fun to teach ancient civilizations to the sixth graders. We even had a Greek festival. That was so much fun and I loved teaching American history and of course writing was always good but then there’s all those papers you have to look at over the weekend.
