Not at all. I like him, I do wish his numbers are better but I completely empathize to those who feel sad that he will head to AHL. We can hold space for both feelings.

While I am very happy we get to watch Kaapo in Deep Sea Blue, I cried the entire night we traded Will for him. I know it's ridiculous to think about, but I can't stop how I feel. I know right now there are tons of Seattle Kraken fans having the same reaction to Grubi, and my heart breaks for them.

I have yelled at Gru plenty over the years.

Sometimes yells of support and sometimes not so much.

Gru seems like a super good dude. Gru was a monster in the playoffs for us.

Watch a lot of hockey, and you will see the fate of goalies flip on a dime.

Recent events have demonstrated that a lot of people just lack empathy. It's not hard to separate the player (likeable, easy to root for) from his performance (worst in the NHL). I hope he is able to regain some confidence in CV and that the best is yet to come, in Seattle or elsewhere. Go Gru.
