Russian attacks towards Mala Lonka have been repelled so far, fights ongoing.

Some sources speculate that AFU are looking to get to Kursk or Kursk NPP.

2. Maybe this is a distraction altogether and AFU actually are looking to make a move other place in Ukraine. There have been reports of AFU grouping in the south.
3. There are significant forces of russians in kursk, so it is quite possible to stop this even if it is a proper offensive.

Kursk & Kurchatov are 80km from there. That's A LOT, especially in winter when fuel consumption kills the fuel reserves. I don't think they can anyways.
