The most underappreciated and misunderstood JRPG on the system. People only seeing it for the fanservice to this day are missing out on literally everything. Does fanservice exist in the game? Absolutely but it's in EVERY JRPG that shouldn't be it's only defining trait

Not to mention that it was mostly developed with a core staff of around 40 individuals, and with many employees being assigned to aid with Breath of The Wild.

Monolith Soft now has 3 separate teams along with smaller groups, such as their R&D, which started 2 years ago. Truly incredible!

I'm glad they've grown so much. Performance on XC2 isn't great and textures can take a while to load properly. By the end of the generation they've become masters of the hardware only rivalled by Retro Studios it seems.
