Should be very interesting, because they don't have to introduce the Switch as a concept completely from ground up. I think,in contrast to 2017, this time they will spend more time on UI and OS.
Think this basically kills any speculation about there being a February/March Switch 1 Direct. Usually when Nintendo locks in the date AND time for a Direct, that tends to be the next one down the line with nothing more than maybe a surprise reveal or two on social media between now and said Direct.
I just hope they don't make the console UI shit like the last console, because then the only reason I have to buy it is when my Switch starts to rack up major damage. And that's not fun. That's not Nintendo.
I'm curious about a few things. That extra button, extra USB port and the mouse uses of the controllers. A bigger screen is nice and larger Joy cons are... oh my god great! So I am onboard here and so my curiosity is more sincere curiousity.

The usual length of a Nintendo Direct is 40 minutes, but given this will contain hardware and software news, I think it should be longer.
This one is kind of important!
