I hope the arrangement is this:

1) Monolith Soft supports other Nintendo games with the Kyoto studio

2) Monolith Soft's other studios are left alone to create the games they want to make with Nintendo's marketing backing

I hope we see their next game at the Switch 2 Direct.

OTOH I almost feel like it has to be, but OTOH they should have so much to show without it, and they’ve just brought XCX over, so maybe not.

I for one want a new game but similar. People shouldn’t have to play 3 very long JRPG to understand a 4th. X is irrelevant. See FF, DQ etc

Pretty beefy line up although I feel like with Splatoon & Animal Crossing I think people give them too much credit? I mean they helped but compare to Zelda which was more significant and deserving, they only helped a little bit on games like Splatoon which was mostly made by Nintendo in house
