The attention has been on Nintendo because they are launching a new console but Xbox and PlayStation are dealing with this too.

They manufacturing plenty in China.

Vietnam and the US are negotiating so for the sake of future Switch 2 buyers, hopefully it won't be 46% after the pause.

Not related to the hardware, but on Friday US Customs announced that solid state storage, which includes game cards, would be exempt from the reciprocal tariffs. I believe most are made in Japan, so would not be subject to the additional 10%.

I just saw that Trump caved and exempted phones, computers and chips from tariffs. I'm guessing but this may be why Nintendo put the preorder back up with no price increase

That's what I have been hearing from various trustworthy news outlets too! I heard from one that at 46% Nintendo would only raise the price $50 but I think that's wishful thinking. I'm no expert though.
