Gender was always a terrible way to segregate sports, just as sex was. I'm a big guy but can't think of a sport where any competitive woman wouldn't wipe the floor with me. Yes, the "average" man is bigger or faster than the "average" woman but what do average people have to do with competition?

Not only is it not that dangerous but it’s a sport where man and women routinely face each other. The tournament where all of this drama started was an OPEN tournament and the girl who refused to face a trans opponent had regularly competed against male opponents in the past

Plus NCAA caved to avoid Trump’s threats of pulling funding. Meanwhile Trump is pulling funding from Penn citing Lia Thomas swimming for them in 2022
