A junior housemaid who was dismissed when she became pregnant. Family rumour suggests one of the sons of the house might have been responsible, but l guess we'll never know. Unless one of the Fitzwilliams is up for a DNA test! 🤣

Hi, I’m happy to meet someone from South Yorkshire, so close to where my ancestor William Cherryholme came from — Bolton upon Dearne and Hampole — who was transported to America in 1749 after being convicted of burglary. I dream of someday visiting the area!
