I think protests in the USA usually start fragmented/local. We take longer than in other countries to organize into a national protest in the capital. Size and transit infrastructure issues. From my home near Seattle -> D.C. is ~ 65h on the train or 40h driving. Compare Stuttgart -> Berlin ~6h - ThreadSky

#5051protests is another. There was an attempted 1 day economic boycott yesterday. I have seen little media coverage from major outlets compared to similar past protests. In recent years many of our prestige media outlets have been bought by billionaires or intimidated by the administration.

There are many smaller local protests happening. #TeslaTakedown seems to be spreading quickly. My sense is that mass demonstrations in D.C. will be happening soon. The upcoming State of the Union address seems like a likely galvanizing moment
