For the use cases it's actually for yes. Maybe for one or two months during research.. or people who absolutely need to be at the bleeding edge of the front of the pack at any cost.
People won't but they're not after people. They're after shell companies packed with private equity capital buying tens of thousands of subscriptions to mark up the main portfolio's value.
It won't be "people" as such. But we'll see what happens. Most likely it'll be either very particular types of people or the few companies that can actually do something with that much AI power. And you don't even get too much more power or reliability on top of the already good $20 o1 models
I doubt it. The majority of people are just barely getting by with rent increases, food cost increases, healthcare increases. Salaries are not keeping up with the rate that things are going up in prices. Paying for AI is not an expense I’ll pay for.
