"Obama and the Clintons should be greeted by Democrats with the same deep skepticism that Trump supporters have shown George W. Bush and Dick Cheney," writes @sunjeevbery.bsky.social.

I genuinely never understood why Americans liked Obamas presidency from a policy perspective. Watered down healthcare bill and that’s it. He also got hosed my McConnell for a Supreme Court pick.
Rubbish. Dems are not excited by our candidates because we don’t choose them. Like six states decide, the rest of is are just supposed to get in line. We have never had a choice of candidates to be excited about.
Yeah, idk, this magazine in particular should be more explicitly revolutionary. They shouldn’t be talking as if the corporate duopoly parties are salvageable at all
There's so many shit libs here doing back flips here to protect hasbeens.
Clinton literally partied with Trump on Epstein island. Hillary protected Bill from responsibility. Obama failed the public option for the ACA, gave up a SCOTUS seat and dozen other things.
It's time to move on. Dems need a new message, new approach and new faces.
But they also need to get back to old values of standing up for worker rights and going after entrenched elites who divide us for their own gain. https://youtu.be/CBUxNeXgC70?si=ghj5KCTXIxjGxSPX
Yup, the corporate ass kissing DNC tax deductions gimmicks are old. Just the same old crap different president. Moving to the middle gave Trump the victory while Trump moved extreme right.
Lifelong Democrat here. This sounds to me like the usual let's find someone to blame. In my opinion the Democrats would have won this election if President Joe Biden had stuck to his original plan of serving one term. Not every decision works out folks. That's life.
Bush left office deeply unpopular, moreso even than Trump or Biden. Certainly more than Obama.
Not going to bother looking up Clinton's polling, pretty sure it's also better than Bush/Cheney. What is the author of this article smoking, and can I get some?

Trump's issue with past GOP presidents is that they never liked him. That's it. Really.
