But short answer, I have not had any issues if there is something inflexible on top, such as plastic terrain, which inhibits it. Clamping while PVA is drying however can be good for larger areas.

What do you use for your bases?
I get asked a lot, so here is a thread covering why my go to is 3mm thick MDF. (about the width of a mini base)
It's cheap and readily available in various sized large sheets (Buy big, cut down for more savings)
