I agree, but she told them she was w a doctor(?) and they thought that was enough. It would've made more sense to wait a beat and snatch her up for RHOA as soon as Kandi announced she was leaving. Tbh, they weren't checking for her for RHOA until Kenya had to leave, which I didn't realize at first.
