Clancy Blair was a force in the fields of dev and ed psych and his work (and his students) has shaped academia, public policy, and medicine in meaningful ways. I had the great privilege of having Clancy as my grad mentor and his brilliance, generosity, and sense of fun will never stop inspiring me.

This week the field of developmental psychology lost a giant - Clancy Blair. His work on how families and schools shaped human development will be classic for years to come. He will be sorely missed. Sympathies to his wife Cybele Raver and his extended family.
