I know it was old and run down but I did love the old ground, especially the County Road terrace.

We often view the past through rose tinted specs and Notts did enjoy our most successful years when the ground was like that. But those pictures remind me of the soakings I got on the Kop and how hard it was to get an atmosphere going. The ‘new’ ground will be great if we climb the leagues again..

I love how we still refer to it as the new ground despite it being 30 years old now 🤣 I do agree the new ground was built for a championship club (or division 1 as it was at the time) so hopefully we can have a team that graces that level

I think you are absolutely right. We have a fantastic stadium that we should feel rightly proud of. I had some great times in the old County Road stand but the old ground was ready for redevelopment.

Our ground is a palace compared to some of the grounds we have visited this season 😀
