95% of my rural friends and family get their news from AM and PM local affiliate news programs, plus whatever shows up in their FB feeds. Few listen to NPR or PBS.

I just laugh that Dem messaging is flawed - shit, these folks won't see it regardless of content.

Not sure if Rubio subscribes to the cruelty, he likely declined because he knows he has no power. No ability to persuade. Just window dressing for this corrupt administration. Rubio gave up his political career with this role hoping to stay relevant. A book deal will be his best path forward...
