no yeah, hard agree for nextcloud (even if it sucks balls), linux or graphene, they do allow to stay in control of your data

that's one of the very neat thing with activitypub and like mastodon, you can just switch servers but still communicate with your friends and all
i got my custom domain handle, but i dont host no data yknow
