I'm 2/3 into War and Peace precisely because I'm trying to understand what's wrong with ordinary Russians and let me tell you, the way Tolstoy wrote about Ukrainians is horrible. But I'm also laughing at the more patriotic bits and cheering for Napoleon so I'm definitely not the target audience.
