Why though, why would we have done very well to keep them? 4th, 7th, league cup final, league cup semi final. 4 points off 2nd in the league with a really easy January. Hate accounts like you who think because we're not in the traditional "big 6" we have to bend over and accept they're leaving.

I don't think that Newcastle has to accept anything like that at all. I'm aware of how good they are and am of the belief those mentioned would covet those players as they are extremely good.if any of the clubs mentioned matched the asking price stated by Newcastle, would the club accept it?

Gordon was, if I'm correct, was linked to Liverpool. So for example, if Liverpool decide not to give Salah stupid money next season. And say thanks but we would like to buy Gordon and the out up the funds for him, would Newcastle say no? At the moment, this is just a guess.

My guess is based on how closely the Premier league (the other clubs) are watching what Newcastle does with their money. The league tends to favour owners from a certain part of the world and openly questions those who are from another part of the world. And this is the reason I use that point.
