Not just saying people need to be nicer online, nor am I saying Dems just need to show empathy to conservatives. The people I’m talking about, as I say explicitly in the piece, are working class voters who tend to be less partisan, ideological, and tuned in

I could now give a sermon. But I’ll pace myself. I’m sick of living in a world of winners and losers.
That’s not what our founding fathers imagined. They expected more.
There’s no moral universe where that’s OK.
And I don’t believe for a moment that a political party needs to say, “These people count, these others don’t so they can die” in order to win.
TRY HARDER.
We need the working class to lead.
Or better yet, college-educated people should partner with the working class in pointing at billionaires for this mess.
