While I try not to talk about M.I.A. these days (her going down the crunchy-to-alt-right pipeline is truly upsetting to me, a huge fan of her music), I did a deep dive on Liquid Liquid today and can't help but wonder if some (if not a lot) of her inspiration came from them.
