Nobody’s ever certain where Trump’s involved.
It wouldn’t surprise me if he tried to stay in power regardless of the 2 term limitation.
Of course, with his age, dementia, etc. he might not even live for 4 years. Then, we’ll deal with Vance anyway, after the term has ended.

To be clear, the Democratic Party is an insufficient bulwark against fascism. Those building dual power outside of Ds and Rs—like Akuno—have the right idea.

Not familiar w/Akuno.
Agree that the Democratic Party is somewhat in disarray. Have great young leaders. But, need a solid plan to save the nation.
The plan must combat fascism on different levels; fight everything in the courts; organize at the grass roots; communicate, communicate.

2/ Democrats version of Project 2025. But from a democracy standpoint.
There must be serious people as leaders. Not suggesting violence, but educate the people who have been duped by Trump and his minions.
Let’s face it. The price of eggs isn’t going down.
