you would be surprised! i’ve seen some serious throughput on some of those. i wouldn’t rely on it for online gaming or streaming or whatever but otherwise i saw some pretty impressive results. i would advise away from it if you can get most other kinds of ISPs in most cases though
when i say streaming i mean broadcast streaming like on twitch or whatever, i just wouldn’t rely on steady upload for that. watching streaming i think is fine
it’s obviously highly dependent on how congested the towers directly near you are, but i had tmobile home 5g for a while and regularly got 200-300mbps down and 100ish up. latency was obviously higher than cable/fiber but not unusable, usually in the 30-40ms range. it was surprisingly good and $30/mo
