I've been feeling this way ever since hearing about the Ghibli AI fiasco. Such shame.

I'm glad there's many people like us on Bluesky who still create.

Yeah same, the Ghibli AI fiasco really put me on my nerves. I'm starting to see AI-made ads in the street, it's just inescapable.

I'm glad that Bluesky at least is the only place where I still haven't seen AI content, there are still loads of genuine artists and creators out there.

I'm not against all uses of genAI, but you know... Art is the kind of thing that makes life worth living. It's the reflection of someone's craft and passion. It's deeply human. To have even that being automated, it just feels like an insult.

That's a beautiful way to look at art. Without my sketchbook, I wouldn't survive my free-times at uni.

AI made ads are also prominent on my end :(
