German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has slammed US VP J.D.Vance for his support for the extreme right AfD. Scholz rejected US interference in the German elections and accused the AfD “playing down the monstrous crimes of the Nazis”. Scholz said Vance’s remarks were completely unacceptable amongst allies.
