Canandaigua would be fine. Hell, I'd be terribly shocked if all of WNY wasn't fine (despite this horrible event) - but Canandaigua - like all of urban NY - is reliably blue (even if the surrounding rural area isn't) and much of NYS "Red" is more concerned about money than they are religious junk.
