Pretty much immediately I fell in love with their designs and personalities, and I started doodling them in various situations. In a sense, you could maybe argue this is the first ever Goober Grove comic, but I don't think it's canon anymore.

Here's an array of various doodles I did. I wanted to clarify how Razzlyn's eyes work, but also just get a vibe for these characters and their dynamics. The third drawing here got repurposed as part of the Robbery comic later on!

Here are the final two sketches I did that night, which would be repurposed into the Relationship Advice comic later on. Despite it being one of the first exchanges I ever wrote, it took like half a year for it to end up in the comic proper. I was saving it for the prelude to the Razzlynette arc.
