It's a weird feeling about lampard apparent demands too.

I absolutely do not trust lampard to have a veto on transfers or whatever they call it.
But after that performance at the fan forum, I hope recruitment have no influence on anything at all.

I was surprised at how everybody accepted what was said at that press conference with fans it was a stage. He has 5 days to prepare himself. There were lots of questions raised from the night that nobody has really mentioned and it still bugs me.

Like how can we be the fittest we’ve ever been and have 7 injured for Sunderland. He praised the ‘deck’ but nobody questioned its lack of depth in certain positions. He also at points said we made the hard decision but nobody questioned who’s we! It was never answered why the players haven’t spoken

To me there are so many more questions, I really don’t trust him and he comes across as someone who will do whatever it takes to succeed and that is dangerous! He had a whole community behind him with Robins and that is very fragile now.

Yeah whether it was hard truths we needed to hear or not, I'm comfortable with calling the whole fiasco unprofessional.

I'm not concerned with whether he's telling the truth, I'm concerned that he clearly isn't up to the pressure of this.

I agree don’t change what isn’t broken and mark Robins was not broken if you invested in him and his ideas he would get us there.. ideally Mark would of made us an awesome director of football that’s for sure.

That would be hilarious. As I say, I have no issue with any of the things that seem to have upset everyone else.
I was flabbergasted that doug invited an underlying to play hatchet man in that environment.
I guess we've established why he took on that role

I'm not sure on the comment about the circus or stooges - I think we were all shocked, but I think to tar Doug with the SISU brush is a little unfair at this point.

If the boss is letting recruitment bitch about a head coach ignoring them at a fan forum, imagine how they are speaking in private.

Fwiw I have no objections to a coach being sacked when he refuses to listen to other departments and the results tank.

I found the desperate public defence of those people unprofessional. Doug clearly thought we wouldn't accept this without knowing the truth, he was right about that. Then got upset
