I saw this early it's very appropriate message for where we are today. Unfortunately since many in the country can't read above the 5 or 6 grade level and have ZERO critical thinking skills they can NOT grasp what this is saying. Which is why we are where we are currently.
Wonderful! I'm so glad my kids are grown. Social Media was new when they were teenagers and still fairly benign. It's a different world now. They can be influenced by their devices, but the devices are a necessary part of life now. How are you doing it?
I follow a pretty standard recipe: just be a friend with own children. We watch videos together when we go to bed. We play Minecraft together. A few years ago when we loosened online content restrictions I started to explain to him what propaganda is by using some videos as examples.

Interesting example regarding "bad words". He already knows almost all of them. But we went further immediately. He also knows what are those rare cases when it may be allowed to use them.
