I think this might be a tactical error by Trump. He probably thinks giving Harry a hard time (if in fact he lied on his visa form) will ingratiate Trump to King Brian, but as a father with sons I know it won't. No matter how pissed off Charles might be with Harry, he won't want him made miserable.

As I recall, the attempt to get these documents was resisted by the then US govt. and the Heritage Foundation failed in its application to the court a few months ago. This agreement to release them is presumably the result of an intervention by the White House. Trump does not like Harry and his wife
