I couldn't tell you as I haven't read on it or done any research into it. I personally haven't adjusted charts using ELO, prefer to just make reference to levels of competition and how it may impact performance in my write-up

I think that it does a decent job of trying to do a rough estimate of how different leagues translate. Not perfect but in the ballpark

Yeah that’s fair.

Feels like it’s so dependent on coaching, system etc that it’d be hard to get a true gauge on how much individual stats are affected by the league they’re in.

It’d be interesting to see how Watkins numbers in the Championship translated to PL given VG also did well at that level

Watkins produced at about 78% the level he did in the Championship once he made the jump up, which is just a tiny bit worse than the adjustment from avg to avg would be (about 83% right now)

It's an interesting comp bc Ollie was 23 his last season there, VG was 24. Ollie was better in most ways
