Elon did not create groundbreaking innovations himself; instead, he payed for their development. Now, he is wielding his influence to make decisions that drive many people into poverty, while simultaneously enriching himself and his associates even further. Unless he annoys Trump, we are stuck.
I've lost respect for Musk since he went off the deep end some 5 years ago (remember that cave rescue, something something pedophiles?), but to say he didn't "invent" SpaceX or Starlink is
just.
flat.
out.
wrong.
If you're gonna throw shade, at least do your homework and do it properly.
Last time I checked ,he bought the spaceX and poured money into it.
Don't think he was involved in actually engineering the solutions used to achieve automated landing and 'chopsticks'
He literally started SpaceX. Including picking his first employees, including legends like Gwynne Shotwell and Tom Mueller. As a matter of fact, he personally interviewed every candidate for SpaceX during the first few years.
Musk did invent https://X.com but it sucked and somewhat failed but was bailed out by merging with PayPal. And he was removed from being PayPal CEO because he sucked but got paid from eBay buying PayPal.
And subsidies for a lot of this totally billions of dollars from a government where he will reduce “waste”. He could start with himself as the waste he’s eliminating.
Someone needs to ask musk directly if he interfered in a way that would give trump the win in November. He is so arrogant that he will admit to exactly what he did
👍 I'd say they bought each other.. Elonia has ALREADY gained billions in contracts from the U.S., even though drumpf isn't, yet, in office. I'M SURE there will be more, MUCH more.
And true... though funny story... He doesn't just "buy" some of these. Rather he buys himself into a position on the board. And then proceeds to do a hostile takeover. Taking with him the company and some of the patents as well.

Thiel is the real menace.
