Phil says he has to be first because he’s my office cat. He was the friendliest stray. I resisted taking him in until he had a sore on his cheek that wasn’t healing. He still has a scar from it under his fur. He’s also diabetic now and hates his fancy expensive food #RevPitWaiting #RevPets 2/

This is our oldest cat, Luna. She was also a stray, and we took her in when she was just a few weeks old because of a cold snap. The kids wanted to name her Toothless. The spot on her eye is benign iris melanosis, and she has zero claw awareness but is very sweet #RevPitWaiting #RevPets

Meet Mischief, aka Missy aka Miss Kitty. She’s the latest addition. She has seizures and has never grown past the size of about a 7-8-month old kitten. It took her about a year to warm up to the other cats and is still a little skittish #RevPitWaiting #RevPets

Last in the black cat triad is Mr. Crowley, aka Liquid Baby because he melts when you pick him up. He has all the weirdest cat traits & loves being under blankets. He, Missy & Moose (next post) are around the same age and came from the same rescue but not the same parents #RevPitWaiting #RevPets

This is Moose, and we got him specifically because he’s orange and we’d never had an orange cat. We had several pets die of old age within a short period and desperately needed some lightness, and the Moose man so delivers #RevPitWaiting #RevPets

Maggie and Wumbo are brother and sister. Wumbo is my youngest’s ESA and is at college with them, and because Maggie misses him, she has to sit as close to my face as felinely possible and purr even if I don’t pet her #RevPitWaiting #RevPets
