i've had terrible eyes my whole life (profoundly myopic) and had to have cataract surgery in my late 40s. for years i went through the constant glasses-cleaning before a new doc told me i had 'actionable' cataracts, which i think the other doc just thought i was too young to have.
fortunately i didn't have dry eyes as a side effect but i do now just from age (and staring at screens too much), and have recently found that taking maqui berry extract (if you see MaquiBright that's just a licensed name for it) helps reduce any need for eye drops
i sent some to my MIL who did have extremely dry eyes as a side effect of her eye surgery and she asked me to keep it coming. worth a try, hope it helps!
Good questions. I have prescription distance and reading glasses which I rarely ever use. Some days I can see for miles, on others I squint to see who is waking towards me. Some days I can thread a needle w/o specs. I can usually read unaided, but sometimes need my specs (low light). No sense to it.
