I would think that percentage is higher. Also doesn't address many experience multiple instances of sexual assault. My adult daughter tells me most of her friends have experienced sv. Friends from school and work. And law school.

Yes I read that. I was out of control worried when she left home for her undergrad. It gets better I promise. With lots of communication. Drinking only from unopened cans or bottles. Never leaving drinks unattended.

Mine went to the #1 party school in US. I went into a bar with her and the bartender made sure she saw him open the bottle in front of her. She did manage to have problems with a power drink making her almost pass out. She's given up on drinking. 😁

I grew up in a pretty privileged environment, and I can only think of two women off the top of my head that weren't abused at some point. And there may be things I don't know. It is a national disease.
