At the moment there are 2 state school vacancies and 1 private school vacancy within driving distance. This is my dilemma. My moral compass is directing me to state, but damn it’s hard to fight against people who fight against their own interests. I remember it.

If you view that state schools as a 'fight' its perhaps not the right environment for you 🤷🏼‍♀️
We don't need to be uncomfortable in life to be effective 🤔
Plus, the teachers who take on the other posts might be the perfect fit!

'don't want help from a woke lefty'? Wtf does that mean? If you can educate private school kids you can educate working class kids. Private schools should cease to exist anyway

I agree Linda, but they do. And while they do, state schools will continue to be starved of funding, and the minds of the underprivileged not just allowed to rot but encouraged to rot.
