Was having this convo with my colleague yesterday. Students doing a model project… me sewing… I’m not spoon feeding it to them. It’s their build they have to figure it out. Colleague.. gasps. 20 year veteran vs a noob. Smh
On day one I pick someone and give them a 30-second lesson in juggling (it's easy) and then have them try. When they give up, I ask the class what went wrong. Eventually someone says 'You have to practice' and I say that brings me to homework. There's no short cut: you have to practice to learn.
i am now That Guy About Process. the process is the whole point! you do the process over and over! the "result/product" is just the place where you stop!
