this applies to so many more hobbies too, i see it far too much people buying something just to take photos of it for reddit updoots or whatever and never touch it again. always makes me sad to see

so many people in my fb record collection groups collect just for the sake of collecting. they hoard vinyl and don't play their records. i guess i just don't get the point of having a record if you're not going to play it. music was mean to be listened to, not hoarded
