I've been looking at some Premier League stats today using @fbref.com and thought I'd share some interesting numbers for the season so far.

Top 5 for shots taken: Man City, Bournemouth, Spurs, Chelsea, Brighton
Top 5 for shots on target: Man City, Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool, Bournemouth

Top 5 for goals per shots on target: Brentford, Leicester, Wolves, Chelsea, Brighton

And now where it gets quite interesting is if we look at goals minus expected goals to see which teams are underperforming/overperforming (both with and without pens).
As a 🍒 fan I'm not unhappy to see these numbers.
