What do people use to record PC game footage?

usually just regular old OBS, but i also use nvidia's geforce overlay thing to record last 30 seconds if something cool happened without OBS open

OBS; ik some folks also use xsplit as well but tbh OBS is Key 🔑💝

I've only dabbled in the practice so far, but OBS has worked just fine for me

Steam does it now and it’s way simpler than OBS. Same with Nvidia.

Yeah, OBS is great if you need to control multiple layers and want to get a little fancy with it but it does have a learning curve.

OBS is the best free way to do it, but if you wanna branch into both PC and console capture, El Gato capture card is the most common

for short ones, nvidia overlay and Alt+F9. for long ones, OBS.
