Not sure what platform you connect from, but in the android app there is the option to hide post when I click the three dots menu:

Oh yes. Tho muting people is mostly my option. K managed to keep my Musk-feed clear of trolls by assiduous use of the Block button.

Settings ➡️ Content and Media ➡️ Turn off Autoplay Gifs and Video

Should work for Bluesky running on Android at least.

Will go look. But the problem is that requires me to look at the post. As it was I had to cover the screen while I searched for Mute Person.
