It’s been too cold to spray anything new, so I’ve been painting stuff I started but never finished.

That is one of my main hobby goals for the year- try to complete those projects I’ve started that have been sitting half painted for years!

My advice for these cold months would be putting the spray cans in some hot (not boiling) water for a few minutes!
It's what I've been doing and has worked a treat when the wind's been still

I do heat them on the radiator. I actually do that habitually, especially with varnishes to prevent clouding. But I've found that if it's really cold (like below 5c), the chill of the air and the model affects the quality of the coat too much.
