NO ADDICT who is on coke and ketamine should be given free rein to destroy our govt. That’s not stigmatizing — it’s common sense.

In stopping a drunk person from getting behind the wheel, we wouldn’t say “we don’t want to stigmatize alcoholics, so make sure the person who stops him is in recovery.”

ketamine is a very effective anesthetic sometimes used in surgery. they tried to stop using it as a combat med after Vietnam because it gave people often terrifying out of body experiences, ie, has dissociative effects. it is sometimes used as a treatment for depression in a reasonable setting
