Mad isn’t it, people could see potential everywhere but unless the government said ‘yes’ nothing happened. It’s the same with Tudor buildings in and around medieval towns, in the 70s a lot were demolished for concrete monstrosities by councils. Unforgivable

100% Look up Shrewsbury mate, I lived there for 28 years. It looks amazing with all the Tudor buildings… Until you realise just how many were destroyed
