YES, but also include 150 million or so Americans with them, parents, teachers, vets, anyone who wants to keep America America and not turn it into Muskatrump.
no. this is a group of people who has no boundaries. They let a million people die of covid and put babies in cages. You don't want your teenager "disappearing" from a juvenile detention center.
Fight your own battles.
I rallied for Seattle Childrens Hospital yesterday in support of transgender youth & rights & healthcare at Cal Anderson Park in Seattle. Stood in the rain for hours. w a Special guest Grammy Award winner Mary Lambert who came out to support. #ShekeepsMeWarm @marylambert.bsky.social
Who’s gonna’ pay for the flights; drive them; feed them; chaperone them; house them and make sure they get back home? My neighbor’s two teens can’t even put out their trash without fucking it up.
As an adult, I completely agree. Sorry some of us shits are trying to drop this problem on you all. It appears to be a cycle across generations that needs to stop.
I think that any gathering of actual teens will attract the GOP sexual exploitation machine like sugar attracts ants and as such they will need security and arming.
Hotels are outrageous. Transportation is costly and not something not all teens do well with unescorted. Big marches in DC are great but choosing other locations, especially a swing state will boost local economies and attract more rural teens.
I'm not sure your use of "we" is correct.
Trump didn't win in November, he was installed.
Leonard Leo stacked SCOTUS then SCOTUS blocked Trump's trials and gave him immunity.
Project 2025, which included closing govt. departments, was written in 2022/3. Why do you think they called it Project 2025?
I don't exactly disagree. But there were decades of eff ups to get to where we are today. Hindsight may be 20/20, but we as a people, economy, and society did this. Did we have much choice? I really don't know how you'd fight the money that pushed this. But "we" did this, no matter who we voted for.
I'm wondering if the concentration of most of the money in the hands of a few people - who may or may not have benevolent intentions - is the natural progression of capitalism
It is a good idea but this problem is also of their parents and adults in general. It should be everyone's duty to march against fascism, against inequality, against hate against discrimination and against rich psychopaths that want to destroy our planet and our societies to collect a few more coins
Well if they could spell and use a more lucid syntax it would sound better. Could they get their noses out of their phones long enough to organize and march?
Yes - use of the National Guard and then the military is not far away.
That's when we get to see the start of the civil war.
And guess who will be sitting in the WH watching it all on TV and admiring what he's done - the man who has full SCOTUS immunity.
RIP USA
Well..I'm not sure they have more to lose than anyone. I believe that the millions on Medicaid (disabled) and the millions on SS have the most to lose. I am in favor of ANYONE literally doing anything to show push back.
Maybe it's time to repeat this, 62 years later.

I don't think its a good idea. Getting arrested at that age with the current fascist admin could mean you get expelled from high school, blacklisted for college, or even have parental custody challenged for allowing you to protest (or not knowing you did). Too much risk.
I think that considering how little the government cares about your kids while in school, they’d have no problem setting an armed response team against them. White men need to step up and protest and stop acquiescing. They’re the last group to get their shit together for anyone but themselves
What’s the end game of any peaceful protest at this point. The fascist regime doesn’t care. 5 million voices will still fall on deaf ears. It’s time to fight back and anyone under 18 should not be involved.
As a Mom I would worry about their safety, emotions, ability to check emotional intelligence - if they had chaperones, somebody to protect them, prob. Ok. You never know w/Rump. He would not respect age boundaries, he could have them beaten like adults. Rump is not rational, reasonable or sane.
I love this idea. David Hogg helped organize and lead massive youth protests after the Parkland shooting. The energy, passion and righteous indignation these kids harnessed cut through (at least for a short time) the BS of politics/gun lobby propaganda. We need this energy to kick start resistance.
I think we should be there with them. It's not just their fight. We should support and defend them. Like we didn't do when they got shot at in schools, malls, churches, etc.
I marched for Roe. I marched for equal rights. We had them. And I'll be damned if I let that go. I'll be there with them. And I'm not trumping on this promise.
It's voting age teens mainly on Tic Tok that voted for Trump. You notice that you hardly see any huge turnout yet by teens in protests of these horrors?

If nothing else it will instantly cause the GOP to flip to "we desperately need gun control immediately!!"

It's very worrying.
