Some major aspects:
1️⃣ States have different laws, hence the importance of a federal overview of how disabled students are treated.
2️⃣ DOE tracks if disabled students of color are penalized more than white disabled students
3️⃣ DOE funds a lot of things, including research, and distributes IDEA funds.

Seems like a means to an end right? Make the individual states responsible and then there is one more layer of separation and confusion between actions and accountability. Bit to what end? Who would want the general population to be even less literate? 😉😂
